1. I wasn't sure this would work given the "immediate return" requirement - I am using a program that outputs audio until you control-c - but I was able to quickly create one button that runs a nohup [name] command and a second that runs a killall [name].I love it, it does what it says it does, has a great widget, easy to use, fully functioned.

2. The only missing things are: Button categories, SSH log (show logs from what buttons do for debug AND allow the buttons to execute something as a debug command with a checkbox), newer designEasy to use, works as expected.

3. What is miss is an option to export all the buttons to another device, say a tablet or an new phone.I ended up having to look for a replacement for Script Kitty, since it is no longer maintained/available and uses kex methods not supported by recent openssh builds.

1. Fix SSH button Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SSH button: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SSH button App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SSH button" » Open SSH button » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SSH button » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SSH button app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SSH button servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SSH button" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SSH button app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SSH button might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SSH button. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SSH button then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SSH button not working

2. Fix SSH button Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SSH button be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SSH button not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SSH button may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
