1. The iOS version is great, though! Why even bother making android apps, NY Times?I use this app almost daily to both save and organize recipes that my family loves and to find new, interesting, and super yummy things to make.
2. I thought the NYT recipes have always been very good, but the recipes available with paid app just isn't enough, and the meals are not as good.Easy and intuitive to use, great graphics, highly functional.
3. 🙄 Otherwise this app has some great recipes so far, with search, user comments, and saving/organizing what you find, though I'd prefer a tagging system in addition to the folders.
4. Even after I searched for and saved a bunch of different recipes, the recommendations continued to repeat.I paid for the premium NYT cooking app, but honestly, it's not worth the price.
5. As we move to a fresh veggie diet, the diversity of recipes has really been helpful when my partner decides he doesn't like a veggie that, in reality, he either hasn't tried since he was young or has never tried.
6. Every recipe has been outstanding, and the suggestions from readers help me figure out where our tastes fit in with any modifications to the recipes.
7. Recipes are great! Of course, they are New York Times Cooking recipes.
8. Please fix this!?It's 2023 and the grocery list feature is still very buggy and they still haven't introduced a dark mode, which is important for an app that needs the screen to be left on for extended periods while you're cooking.
9. Even after I have looked at and not saved (usually because of obscure ingredients that I can't get locally) recipes, the exact same recipes keep showing up over and over.
10. When you drill down to browse a recipe, then hit the 'back' button, the app takes you all the way back to the main list of recipes.
11. I was expecting more, and the search is sub-par, difficult to navigate using ingredients to search for recipes.
