UNIVERSE Customer Insights

1. First time, was told that subtitle issue was fixed, I went to report that I was still having issues and found that they've taken their "contact us" page offline.

2. I just barely came across following who I wanted to by accident.. I have zero idea how to use this app and I hope they fix this soon.I was so excited couldn't wait for this to download, but there are so many bugs that need to be worked out it sad.

3. It talks about reserving times to call with your artist but it doesn't really explain if that's a real call or an automated one (since they did synthesize artists' voices for this app).

4. Improved for a while, now back to not being worth the subscription.Cancelling my subscription since English subtitles have been completely removed on a lot of videos.

5. Every time I click through the different tabs it gives me an error screen to go to the title screen or reload and it never reloads so I end up just closing out the app.

6. They don't respond to messages sent to the general email so I guess there's no way to report bugs anymore.Remove the AI feature.

7. They have fixed a good amount of the glitches and bugs, I'm not getting mixed languages anymore, and I'm actually getting the tutorials now which really helps.

8. Another issue I'm having is the interface and app itself; it's kind of laggy and will swipe, say, photos/tutorial pages too far, or won't upload a comment to a member's post without me pressing it two or three times.

9. Also does this app really need almost 2GB storage?? It makes my phone hot the whole time and there are so many error pop-ups.

10. Subtitles will disappear or lose synch with the video, the timeline is difficult to rewind or advance, sometimes the full screen button will just refuse to do anything.

11. Also for it to not work 97% of the time, it sure takes up A LOT of space (when you first download AND for an update).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix UNIVERSE Issues

1. Fix UNIVERSE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart UNIVERSE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the UNIVERSE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "UNIVERSE" » Open UNIVERSE » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for UNIVERSE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear UNIVERSE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from UNIVERSE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "UNIVERSE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check UNIVERSE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, UNIVERSE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall UNIVERSE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall UNIVERSE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing UNIVERSE not working


2. Fix UNIVERSE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make UNIVERSE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to UNIVERSE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, UNIVERSE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello, I wanted to apply for 1:1 fancall event with Kep1er but I accidentally applied for the fan event since this is my first time applying. Is there a way to cancel my application for the live fan event and changed it to 1:1 fancall event? I’m begging because I put all my raffle tickets there please help me and I can’t fly to Korea all of sudden if i got accepted. I already read every single instructions but to no avail I still make a mistake…😭 please help I want to fancall with Chaehyun and I don’t want to miss this application chance 😭😭😭🥹
