About NCPMobile: Shopping Rewards

NCP Customer Insights

1. Other than I do kinda wish I was better at remembering to scan each individual item maybe while I'm at the store since you can't just scan whole receipts, I also wish I had some kinda device to scan them with and not just my cell phone at times it don't like to register clear photos of the barcodes I tend to end up scanning each item at least 2x before it goes threw.

2. Many on the list are not in my area.I love NCP! I truly enjoy scanning/entering the items I purchase, completing the surveys, playing games, and watching my points balance go up~especially when I'm saving for a particular item or gift card.

3. Wasted my time providing data!!!!I have been with NCP for a few years and whats not to love really! You scan your shopping trips, uber easy, and get points.

4. The surveys are easy and fast and the rewards seem to be good The scanning is straightforward and fast, when I remember to do it before putting all my things away! The only down side I see is loosing ground when you don't use the app in a weeks time.

5. It would be so much easier if I could link online retailers or scan my receipts instead of scanning each individual item I purchase.

6. When you build up enough points, you can order from the gift catalog and are also entered into sweepstakes to win cash prizes as well as awesome prizes! There are multiple ways to earn points, ie.

7. Most of the time, I will put all my stuff away and think, "Damn forgot to scan them," but then remember stores like Dollar General and WalMart put the UPC on the receipt.

8. It's very rewarding to see my points and score grow each week! It was a little difficult remembering to enter every single purchase in the beginning.

9. Keep up the good work.Wish could scan products and then receipt instead of having to enter price and discounts.

10. I've been with NCP for awhile, even before the app switchover and my account won't be unlocked and I lost the points I had saved up because I was not granted access to the app to redeem my points, while outside the US.

11. Also, it's not really comparable to rebate apps like fetch or ibotta where you get cash back or other rewards for buying specific items.Convenient, but glitchy.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NCP Issues

1. Fix NCP Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NCP: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NCP App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NCP" » Open NCPMobile: Shopping Rewards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NCP » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear NCPMobile: Shopping Rewards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NCP servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NCPMobile: Shopping Rewards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NCP app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NCP might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NCP. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NCP then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NCP not working


2. Fix NCP Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NCP be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NCP not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NCP may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
