1. At first I only was pleasantly surprised it had a search history at all, so that was cool... And then this morning, I looked a new song (I might have used the app tops 15 to 20 times in the past few months) and then I opened the 'history' feature and search history was gone... it was really bizzarre (and sad, since I didn't save the songs I have searched)... So yeah, not a good experienceGreat App.

2. Every song I've looked for has been technically correct in the song title, but has made up every single artist that they match with the songs.The app can guess some songs, but not a lot.

This one isn't it.This app is great, I use it all the time especially when a song comes on the radio and I want to know who sings it and the name, but it does take maybe 5 to 10 seconds to come on because the ads you have to close, but overall I recommend it!! Maybe figure out how to put ads at the end and make where we have to watch.

5. But they are really long songs and the music recorder only records a bit of the song.

6. The problem is that the music recorder records the song for a short period of time.

7. The app would be great if it could get all the songs I play instead of getting no results! I just got so tried of it, I am uninstalling it! :(Very impressed! I listen to just about everything from Pop to Classical.

8. If the app could record the music a bit longer the app will have enough time to understand the song.

1. Fix Music Detector Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Music Detector: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Music Detector App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Music Detector" » Open Music Detector » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Music Detector » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Music Detector app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Music Detector servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Music Detector" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Music Detector app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Music Detector might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Music Detector. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Music Detector then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Music Detector not working

2. Fix Music Detector Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Music Detector be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Music Detector not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Music Detector may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
