My only suggestion to them is to improve the word a day feature, words are chosen completely at random and they need to have an education level based choice, i.e. Challenging, Average and Basic.I was looking for a dictionary app that was ads free, could be used as the main dictionary in my reading app moon reader, and it had to be reasonably quick when looking up words.

2. A great dictionary! I've been using it for a few months and have yet to find a word that isn't included in this tome.

3. Also the definitions are identical in some cases to google, not worth the money, it's just not a good app, I was hoping it was.As far as English dictionaries go, there is none better than THE Oxford English Dictionary.

4. But only it expands my vocabulary, also remembering one new word per day is much easier then memorizing say twenty new words per day.This app is cumbersome to use and I'm not a good speller, but this app really has a problem finding the right word.

5. There are so many fun, obscure words in English and this app thinks we are unaware of what three means.No thesaurus included.

1. Fix Ox Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ox: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ox App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ox" » Open Oxford Dictionary of English » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ox » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Oxford Dictionary of English app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ox servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Oxford Dictionary of English" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ox app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ox might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ox. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ox then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ox not working

2. Fix Ox Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ox be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ox not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ox may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
