1. I'm an audio book junkie, I listen to books everyday, and I love audible, the selection of titles and different plan options make it easy to find something that works for you, that said there are some issues, one being that titles randomly stop playing without you using the controls, the other being that there is no way (that I have found anyway) to create a "Playlist" that would be an excellent feature especially when listening to a series of books you could transition from one book to the nextI haven't been able to play any books for weeks, I get a notification that an internal playback error occurred and to try again in a few minutes.
2. The notification even pops up on my phone screen when the app is not running, and the quick player is stuck in my notifications for weeks even though I restarted my phone and updated the phone OS since I've been able to actually play a book.Several times a day, I the player stops playing.
3. Looks like I'll be switching to Spotify for audio books.Okay app, "Subscription credit" per book is a bit pricey for some books.
4. I'll have no other apps open, good signal, I try downloading the books and nothing I have looked up to troubleshoot the issue has worked.
5. Audio quality, and selection is pretty good.Audible for Android is slow to load, I find managing the menu is awkward and just now it just stopped working.
6. I cannot read physical books anymore because my eye muscles start cramping crazily after about 10-15 minutes.
7. It is difficult to find the included free subscription books.
8. When you open the app it puts a bar in your notifications so you can play and pause without going to the app proper, even on the lock screen, which is great.
9. Worked fine until an update earlier this year now its nearly impossible to listen to a quarter of a chapter until it stops playing.
10. Haven't been able to listen to anything in my library in months due to a "playback" error.
11. So I recommend just buying the book if you don't already have credits.Constantly stops playing.
