1. it wont allow laptop installation and its useless on my mobile devises as nothing activates it doesn't do picture search and wont allow me to modifyUnable.to share the playback local record videos, i dont see an option on goodete app to share the recorded video capture.Utter shite constantly crashing, sound keeps going off, Xmeye miles better...works 100% just have to edit router settings and the device settings make sure gateway is correct and use static ipCan't log in... some error... ,also when l was logged in before l could not change from sd to hdNot a lot of function support is from China and very delayedOnly this app work very well on TV-Box.

2. This app has been very good last few years for me but now it needs to be updated as ive updated my phone and apps.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GoodEye Issues

1. Fix GoodEye Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GoodEye: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GoodEye App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GoodEye" » Open GoodEye » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GoodEye » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GoodEye app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GoodEye servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GoodEye" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GoodEye app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GoodEye might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GoodEye. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GoodEye then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GoodEye not working


2. Fix GoodEye Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GoodEye be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GoodEye not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GoodEye may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
