1. I'd gladly pay for an ad free version because ads appear just at the moment you could do without them!!This is Putty for android! As I have to ssh into servers I run at home and work this app gets the job done! There are a few rough spots, is it the android keyboard or the Bluetooth keyboard not sure but at least the app brings up F1~F12 function keys on screen when needed.

2. Will only install it once there is a ad free version available (for a few bucks if the developers want it, NOT a subscribtion)This app doesn't work for me, also it seems to be a copy of ConnectBot app by Kenny Root.

3. Even when selecting "edit port forwarding", and being told to tap "the menu", there was none showing.Better than the rest I've tried, and it seems to have the snappy response as the Windows version.

6. I would understand it if the developer actually made the app himself but as it seems it's a copy of ConnectBot which is far superior and with no intrusive ads.

7. This app has the same ui, same options, but it doesnt show me the prompt after i ssh into my linux pc, it doesnt execute any programs, it just goes as far as authenticating and connecting to ssh server.

8. I hope the guys that copied this app suffer a painful and slow death.Could be a great app like PuTTY on other platform but ads spoil everything.

9. I uninstalled the appWorks well, then you cop a full screen ad, which kind of breaks it for me.

1. Fix Putty SSH Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Putty SSH: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Putty SSH App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Putty SSH" » Open Putty SSH » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Putty SSH » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Putty SSH app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Putty SSH servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Putty SSH" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Putty SSH app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Putty SSH might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Putty SSH. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Putty SSH then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Putty SSH not working

2. Fix Putty SSH Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Putty SSH be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Putty SSH not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Putty SSH may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
