1. The app does not include surf and beach forecasts or marine maps that are not included in the list above.
2. MetService New Zealand marine forecasts are now available in a handy smartphone app.
3. The app is free of charge thanks to sponsorship by Maritime NZ.
4. The app is developed for smartphones and is not supported for tablets.
1. If these issues were resolved I would definitely use the app again.I cannot change the 'home' setting on this app - I don't know who y, I've tried everything, including uninstalling it, and re-installing - Other features are fine, I can install/reset favourites, but not home.. why? Very disappointing! I'll delete it until it can get sorted..Very practical app.
2. This function has been restored in the March 2023 update after being stuffed up for 3 years together with the 3 day rain forecast.
3. When I upgraded my phone to a Galaxy A53 the app lost its play button on the rain radar and 3 day rain forecast making the app.
4. Strange to notice that there appears to have been just one review since mine in 2020.The information is all there although the failing to connect to server is quite an annoying recurring problem, fixed by restarting the app.
5. But the 3 day Rain Forecast does not have the play bar to click on there's a static screen.
6. App gave an accurate forecast when I lived in Wellingron, but when I moved to Raglan the forests have become mostly unreliable.
7. Connectivity problems have persisted for years but time will tell whether that issue has been fixed.
8. Using the rain radar I can again tap continuosly on the arrow to view the movement of approaching rain.
9. I would prefer if the home screen gave me all the useful information for my chosen base location though.
10. Frustrating as it was a useful app when out cruising/sailing.Forecast is on a poor background and can't easily read it.
11. Has 'cannot connect to server' error and fails to load.
