Why should I report an Issue with MetService NZ Weather?

1. Would give 5 stars if and when it gets fixed.🤔Love the app, prefer this over others, BUT the forecasting is so inaccurate! Temp jumps 4-5 deg from was was forecast a fw hours earlier...current temp doesn't "feel" right or doesn't match the 24-hour forecast below.

2. Update March 2023 How about adding surface pressure maps to this app please?Liked the app but unable to gain any sort of control over location for app or widget, despite following instructions to set permissions.

3. Consider modernising the widgets design and making them conform properly to launcher margins.Location based forecasting is constantly being disabled.

4. Have some self respect.Like so many others have said, location based forecast has suddenly stopped working,and cannot be enabled.

5. This app is no longer usable for me so I have uninstalled it.The service that metservice supplies is fantastic, by far the most accurate and detailed weather reporting in New Zealand.

6. Not sure what's changed but would love it to be fixed.My second favourite/most needed update - pollen count - no longer available on the app.

7. Sadly going elsewhere for my weather updates.I use to love this app, especially the rain radar, but it's so inaccurate now.

8. They didn't used to be so bad, but very recently the ads are showing up as you scroll down the weather into for an area, which totally ruins the experience.

9. Approximately 80% of the time it doesn't automatically find my location, so do it manually.

1. Fix MetService NZ Weather Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MetService NZ Weather: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MetService NZ Weather App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MetService NZ Weather" » Open MetService NZ Weather » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MetService NZ Weather » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MetService NZ Weather app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MetService NZ Weather servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MetService NZ Weather" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MetService NZ Weather app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MetService NZ Weather might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MetService NZ Weather. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MetService NZ Weather then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MetService NZ Weather not working

2. Fix MetService NZ Weather Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MetService NZ Weather be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MetService NZ Weather not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MetService NZ Weather may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
