Smart Messages Customer Insights

1. I have tried multiple messaging platforms and this has very quickly became my new favorite.Love this messaging app ๐Ÿ˜Š I haven't had any issues with this app, but my service provider seem to believe it's not compatible; I get messages, and I'm able to send them fine with or without a wifi connection.

2. Update: Lately I haven't been able to open this app it's experiencing tech issues ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿค”I adored this, worked perfectly and had all the things I couldn't get in others.

3. I know there is a pin option but this doesn't always workMy rating is based on a significant time lag in receiving incoming messages.

4. One of my favorite features about this messaging app is the icon that pops up on my screen when I get a new incoming message.

5. It lags so much that I use the stock messaging app to check for incoming messages and use this for schedule sending later.

6. If not, the free version is great as well.I like all the features/customization... However, I miss having a search feature, and the option to see only the media in each conversation.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Smart Messages Issues

1. Fix Smart Messages Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Smart Messages: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Smart Messages App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart Messages" » Open Smart Messages » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart Messages » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Smart Messages app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart Messages servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Messages" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Smart Messages app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Messages might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Messages. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Messages then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smart Messages not working


2. Fix Smart Messages Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smart Messages be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smart Messages not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smart Messages may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
