1. I'm constantly having to restart it after reconnecting my hearing aids 1 or 2 days, 3 days if I'm lucky, then if that doesn't work I have to completely restart my phone.

2. Since then, it simply will not recognize my 4 day old hearing aids....please either fix it or remove it, its not fair making people waste their lives away trying to make this nightmare work for them.This is a terrible app.

3. Also, "find my hearing aids" option is complete nonsense: It indicates that aids are about 1 mile away when they are on my person! The app worked for a while, right after downloading, but has failed for the last 3 days.

4. Of course it's a 90€ accessory...When can we expect this app to allow our phones to be heard in our hearing aids? Right now we have to remove our hearing aids to use ear buds.

5. When it finally does sync with the hearing aids, the connection is sporatic at best.

8. I have the Costco Burnafon aids and my phone is a Moto E5 Play with Android 8.0. The app connected to my aids without issue.

9. I have had my hearing aids for 3 weeks and have been told Remotelink is the only app that is authorized with these hearing aids.

10. What? I spent thousands of dollars on hearing aides and investing in another phone is the only solution technology has to offer? Very disappointing.Terrible user experience.

11. 5/29/20.For no reason, the hearing aids get "disconnected".

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix RemoteLink Issues

1. Fix RemoteLink Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart RemoteLink: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the RemoteLink App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RemoteLink" » Open RemoteLink » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RemoteLink » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear RemoteLink app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RemoteLink servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RemoteLink" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check RemoteLink app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RemoteLink might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall RemoteLink. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RemoteLink then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RemoteLink not working


2. Fix RemoteLink Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RemoteLink be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RemoteLink not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RemoteLink may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
