1. Latch is the first smart access system that eliminates keys and automates access for everything that needs to happen at a modern building.
2. Open your door with a Doorcode or an app, instantly provide access to all of your favorite people and services through smart Doorcodes, and record everything that happens while you're away.
3. Use of the app requires Latch hardware to be installed at your building.
1. I wish my building would just give out keycards that unlocked the same doors, because my elevator experience when using this app usually ends with the elevator going to a different floor because I couldn't unlock it in time.
2. You'd think that with 6 AAs there's be some kind of fallback; just know that every time you use latch, you are one step closer to not being able to go home.Doesn't work most of the time and when it does it's slow.
3. Nothing like having your hands full of groceries and needing to pull out and try not to drop your phone, unlock it, find the app, find the right elevator in the app, then wait 30 seconds for it to work, then close all the error messages about no network.
4. Craptastic tech 🙄It works alright I guess... For the most part, it doesn't really take longer than using a fob would, but it does take time to adjust.
5. It's not just that it's slow, doesn't work half the time, and can take you up to a minute just to go home.
6. Finally, the app loves to auto open my apartment door when I don't want, posing a serious security risk.
7. Great job making IOT dumber!Slow, doesn't work consistently, overall a pretty terrible experience.
8. I would appreciate a Samsung Watch app, as that would make it easier to open doors with and not have to carry my phone in hand in preparation to open the slew of gates and doors at my complex.
9. It's so slow that the elevator starts to move to another floor while I'm still waiting for the latch system to authenticate.
10. Then, the door will click and half the time not actually open.
11. NFC supposedly, but I have no option for that.doesn't work half the time.
