1. Anything that I can see on my phone screen that I want to have read out loud to me can be initiated by just tapping the share button- and up pops the Start button for your Assistant voice to begin the narration! The only major annoyance is that all information on the page is spoken ( technical references, etc.).This is my favorite text to speech app but since i updated my Android to version 9, the app no longer highlights the text that it is reading and doesn't follow along down the paragraphs to show the place its reading.

2. Would install and use again next time I lose my voice.I love this app! The only two things I would change are that it would show some indication as to what part of the text it's reading (maybe using highlights or something like that), and I'd also like it if I could change what kind of voice I would like.

3. Please fix this! Edit - thank you for looking into this, I appreciate it!⚠️There are 👉 NO 👈 controls! • It starts talking, But you can't stop it! • you have to wait until the web page as completely been read! • This app is still in Beta(basic) stage • Uninstalled.

4. The read out of highlighted text will randomly stop when played from the context menu but, reads fine if typed (copy/paste, in this case) into the app itself.

5. No problems, just wondering if you could find a way to add my own voice, that would be great! This app is wonderful, and now I have better writing and grammar... and not kick me out when I try copy pasting my story.

8. Jesus loves you!Slight bug (or I can't figure out): When I get the "Read Webpage" dialog box the choices are "Always" "No" "OK" if I accidentally hit "Always" there is no way to reverse it in settings.

9. No complaints.Awesome basic app that gets the job done! I used this in a pinch when I got sick and lost my voice during a fun night chatting with friends.

10. BTW the website listed on Playstore is dead.This is a really great app, but since a few days now the language/accent that was selected for an audio is not the same as the one that gets exported.

11. All I found were apps that were too specific/couldn't read from 3rd party apps, or apps I had to pay for.

1. Fix Talk Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Talk: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Talk App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Talk" » Open Talk: Text to Voice » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Talk » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Talk: Text to Voice app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Talk servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Talk: Text to Voice" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Talk app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Talk might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Talk. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Talk then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Talk not working

2. Fix Talk Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Talk be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Talk not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Talk may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
