1. I add name, DOB (which then deletes the name and I have to re enter) but clicking on save/add does nothing.This app worked with the device, after the updates it doesn't work at all.

2. Kinsa, I would like to be contacted to correct this problem.Very upsetting to find that my Kinsa Smartstick worked just fine a few months ago and now it doesn't.

3. An analog thermometer doesn't stop trying like the kinsa does.

4. I'm sure the device hardware is fine, like most other modern problems the software is the issue.i like being able to log and track temps and meds but the app is a little buggy and is frustrating sometimes.

7. The app also requires keypresses/screen-taps to start another reading, which I have to take several of to average out the noise in the kinsa (sometimes it declares his temperature much lower than it actually is because it didn't wait long enough to stabilize).

8. sometimes i feel all the extra time messing with edits to get the timeline correct is not worth it.Like others gave stated, It worked great for years, until now.

9. Also Thermometer wont work if I turned off location and Bluetooth.

1. Fix Kinsa Smart Stick Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Kinsa Smart Stick: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Kinsa Smart Stick App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kinsa Smart Stick" » Open Kinsa Smart Stick » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kinsa Smart Stick » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Kinsa Smart Stick app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kinsa Smart Stick servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kinsa Smart Stick" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Kinsa Smart Stick app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kinsa Smart Stick might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Kinsa Smart Stick. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kinsa Smart Stick then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kinsa Smart Stick not working

2. Fix Kinsa Smart Stick Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kinsa Smart Stick be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kinsa Smart Stick not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kinsa Smart Stick may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
