1. Too bad.Used the app for years but they destroyed a good app with each update: "skip 30 seconds" on lock screen has been replaced by "skip to next podcast" which is just terrible when you're in the car and just want to jump ahead without taking your eyes off the road (contrary to what the author said, Google's own podcast app still has the 30-second skip on the lock screen).
2. I love that I can set a beginning and ending timer so I can trim ads but I struggle to understand in what world adding a podcast to a playlist means adding ALL THE PAST PODCASTS to the playlists is a good idea.
3. Thanks! Previous review: Reluctantly uninstalling because of one very bad behavior: every time I would connect to Bluetooth headphones the app would start itself right up (I hadn't been running it) and insert some episode on top of everything else so that I would have to Force Quit it in order to be able to listen to my audiobook in another app.
4. I assume it's something strange on iheart's end that causes it, when I listen to the same podcast through their (less good) app it workUPDATE: removing a star for the tone deaf and irrelevant developer response.
5. When I moved away from my last podcast app (BeyondPod), I downloaded ~4 of the highest rated apps.
6. On other downloaded podcast files, a message bar opens (for about a half second) to say "can't play downloaded file".
7. Would be nice if little things like this weren't an issue but overall it's fine.I have been using this app for years on successive devices and versions of Android.
8. I like the ability to make multiple playlists, fully control auto-download settings, set per-feed playback speeds, and sort my feeds with tags.
9. Only problem is some podcasts (frequently with iHeartRadio casts) will be missing 5 to 30 seconds once in a while in the middle of the episode.
10. Latest glitch is when I open the app and connect to wifi, it automatically starts downloading random episodes that I never attempted to download.
11. Sometimes I type in the exact title of a pod and it comes up way too far down the listBest podcast app I've found.
