1. Clocking in an out of my shift when it tells me I'm not at my location, messaging I have to close out of the app an re open if you type to long of a message it freezes the whole app an you can't do nothing..I can't send messages to anyone it will show in background but can't answer anyone back it disappears if I click on it.Glitchy. At least the user interface is reasonably straightforward on the employee's end.App no longer shows days other than Monday to clock in.

2. This is ridiculous!! I like that you can add supplies, and notes for locations, otherwise it's kind of worthless.Disappointed. I don't get notifications of employees not clocking in or messages unless I keep the app open at all times.

3. Being that if we have multiple personnel on a property; one employee can complete a task and checks it off then everyone on that shift can view it not just the individual who completed after saving.

4. It would also be helpful if they put in a alert or vibration setting to notify employees when they are clocked in that location, so when they go out of the geofence they get reminded they didn't clock out.

5. It is user friendly, and they're customer service is great, but, I left feeling ripped off and punished for switching to an app that better served my company.

6. if your shift starts at any 11:45 but you cant check in till midnight you cant just go to your schedule, you have go find the location and check in.

7. I've been having to call in my time rest of this week.Read the small print! You have to give them 30 days notice to cancel.

8. And before swept gives me the "up to date" or phone settings excuse, the app has been installed several times , phone settings have been checked.

9. Also would be helpful to have "task" assignments for each cleaner per the cleaning instructions with a check box for them to mark when completed.

10. Can't punch in or out regardless of location, no longer getting notifications or messages; therefore, it cost me the opportunity to pick up shifts and make extra money.

11. App needs work to help us.The app needs the ability for employees/supervisors/employer to view completed assignments simultaneously.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Swept Issues

1. Fix Swept Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Swept: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Swept App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Swept" » Open Swept » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Swept » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Swept app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Swept servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Swept" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Swept app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Swept might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Swept. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Swept then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Swept not working


2. Fix Swept Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Swept be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Swept not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Swept may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
