Also, If you have the app in the dark reading mode the text color for the comments at the end of the chapter doesn't change to white so you can't see the comments in dark mode.As much as I love this app and some of the stories on it (read on it for several hrs every day), I hate the auto text select feature when you're in a book.

2. Overall, I like it a lot.Would give it 5 stars if it didn't highlight text so easily! Love the stories and especially how there is no ads but even the slightest touch will highlight and select random passages even when you are just trying to turn a page! I would still like to select text but I think it should require a long press.

3. I personally don't use the text select feature and think it's unnecessary, so it'd be nice if there was an option to turn it off if you don't want it.I do love this app and the stories on here.

1. Restart Inkitt: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Inkitt App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Inkitt" » Open Inkitt: Books, Novels, Stories » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Inkitt » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Inkitt: Books, Novels, Stories app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Inkitt servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Inkitt: Books, Novels, Stories" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Inkitt app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Inkitt might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Inkitt. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Inkitt then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Inkitt not working

2. Fix Inkitt Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Inkitt be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Inkitt not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Inkitt may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
