Highfive Video Conferencing Customer Insights

1. Conference only work with earphone, no loud speaker support (somehow this feature was removed), meaning you can't use the video feature as you cannot hear the other end without putting your ear next to the phone, which means the camera is covered.

2. It crashes so hard that sometimes restarting the app doesn't work and your only hope is to disconnect and reconnect your Bluetooth headset and just hope you don't get stuck in call-mode.Hands down worst video and call conferencing software I've ever used.

3. Audio wouldnt work with/without headphones, there isn't a troubleshooting feature, and when you do get in it defaults to camera but no audio? This is an awful app and you're off better using hangouts, Skype, or any other free apps.

4. Also, because of that, the other end cannot hear me unless I speak right into the mic (like I would with a phone call).Awful. App doesn't let you test which is a must when the app can't reliably perform.

5. Not to mention the permissions you need to grant the app.Of all conferencing software we used this is the worst quality.

6. Froze for prolonged periods of time for both myself and the other person on the video call, on separate occasions.

7. However, it worked well in the previous versions.Connections drop really easily, and it will randomly switch between my headphones and phone speaker which basically makes it unusable unless you're alone.

8. TWO HUGE THUMBS DOWN! The worst thing is I like the experience on the web client, but this app experience sours me on the whole product now.This app constantly crashes on android.

9. I do not recommend it.Unable to Zoom in/out as well as audio issues when the app is kept in the background in the latest version.

10. Avoid it!!!This app is buggy and doesn't work at all with bluetooth headsets.

11. Discord is a much better tool and its for gamers which tells you how poorly this video conference nonsense stands.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Highfive Video Conferencing Issues

1. Fix Highfive Video Conferencing Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Highfive Video Conferencing: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Highfive Video Conferencing App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Highfive Video Conferencing" » Open Highfive Video Conferencing » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Highfive Video Conferencing » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Highfive Video Conferencing app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Highfive Video Conferencing servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Highfive Video Conferencing" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Highfive Video Conferencing app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Highfive Video Conferencing might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Highfive Video Conferencing. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Highfive Video Conferencing then reinstall.
