1. I shouldn't have to spend $150 a year just to enjoy something that has actually been quite beneficial to this point.Parts of the app are weirdly anxiety provoking: some of the short gamified meditations stress me out (serenity scene: "take your final breath", yikes, some of the animations are clunky and disturbing), the breather biofeedback leaves my flash on for so long it physically hurts, like my finger is burning.
2. ugh...took forever to figure it out! but the app is great & helpful.I have used the Happify app as well as website for several years and really like the variety of tracks offered, even for free.
3. Also, when taking the check in quizzes the answer choices are in extremes (it goes from several days a week to never, when 1 or 2 days is the correct answer).Good, well thought out design and UX, but there's something slightly off putting (aka, disturbing) about the AI interface.
4. I really love what they are trying to do, but why do they need to animate fish when they could use video? The video loops in the mediations have jumps too.On 2nd track of the free app.
5. when doing an activity, say it's watching a video, it just keeps buffering (and it ain't my internet connection) it kind of kills the momentum when you are doing a guided stretch or something.
6. Really??!?! You make that a task?? 2nd task (stamp out negativity) is broken and the start button is grayed out so I can never complete it and quite honestly doesn't really help with the negativity.
7. I also think you need you need to take into account not everyone has the people in their lives needed to complete the tracks.
8. API auth call to Cigna times out, text message to install the app is never sent, link to reset password redirects to home page, etc.it could be a good app, but it is just way too glitchy to even use.
9. It always says that something went wrong and then I have to do the meditation again to mark it as complete.Newest update is very disappointing.
10. Sorry...gave this a try but going to have to delete this one.My health insurance (Cigna) says it provides access to this app.
11. Basically it feels like I'm talking to myself, which is not the least bit evocative, or effective, and I can't see that changing, at least until the robot singularity.I am very lucky because I can use this app through my Progyny insurance so I don't have to worry about the fees and things for it.
