Forward Customer Insights

1. I appreciate the functionality that this app does provide - being able to speak with my doctor/health team whenever and seeing my health data all in one place is really great! But this app needs some serious refinement.

2. I have a relatively new phone running Android 10 and the entire onboarding process including giving my medical history and scheduling my first appointment using the app went smoothly with no issues.

3. I still believe there is a better future for healthcare but if this is it, then I can wait longer.Other reviewers are right -- buttons have to be pressed multiple times in just the right way to get the press to register, AND the app crashes A LOT upon startup (try to view messages = instant crash).

4. I have had to "force stop" and close the app to be able to send a message successfully after receiving a message from the care team or if I wanted to send 2 consecutively.

5. Hopefully the rest of the app content has a better user experience.*Note: This a review of the app only, not the in-person Forward service! I should start by noting that I, so far, have really enjoyed being a member of Forward.

6. So it's best to start the process when you have at least 10 to 15 minutes to do it.The application is not useful for members waiting for their upcoming Forward location to be inaugurated.

7. For the past month or so, message screen freezes and/or the keyboard will disappear.

8. It offers direct access to my care team and important information thus allowing us to effectively track my health performance.

9. I appreciate the high-touch approach of the service, given that I am prone to put off regular medical checkups when left to my own devices.

10. However, if you stop and go do something else during the onarding process, the app may take you back to the last screen on which your data was saved.

11. Otherwise said keyboard crash occurs.App review: The app certainly needs some work but for the past 2 days it has been particularly frustrating to work with.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Forward Issues

1. Fix Forward Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Forward: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Forward App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Forward" » Open Forward - Primary Care For You » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Forward » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Forward - Primary Care For You app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Forward servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Forward - Primary Care For You" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Forward app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Forward might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Forward. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Forward then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Forward not working


2. Fix Forward Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Forward be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Forward not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Forward may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • would like to cancel membership and receive a refund for account associated with Tiffany Barbod. registration was completed i believe in august of last year (2020) but services have never actually been used and no baseline appointment was ever attended. information available through the forward website has lead to believe that a full refund will be made available upon request and would appreciate confirmation of the refund upon completion. if there is any issue with completing the requested cancelation or refund please feel free to reach out to me by email at tiffany.barbod@redacted, phone/text (626) 372-0385 or written correspondence to 7000 La Presa Dr
