1. Looking forward to the day when Headspace invests in usability studies and releases a product that is easy and intuitive to use.Life-changing. It makes learning about and practicing meditation easy and enjoyable, and its benefits extend well beyond a few simple moments of peace (although it certainly brings that as well!) Lots of great content that isn't 100% meditation-oriented, but still related to the concept of mindfulness.
2. The first problem I have is counting focus music, sleep music, and similar stuff as meditation time, which certainly is not! Secondly, a keep screen on toggle button option for each session could be beneficial.
3. Worked great! Fast forward a couple years and I'm going through some stuff so wanted to get back in to it... What the heck?!? Everything is locked unless I buy a subscription! There isn't even a few videos unlocked so you get enticed... Basics are even locked!!! Totally has gone downhill! Do not waste your money!Altogether is great, but there are some minor improvements that can be done easily to enhance the experience.
4. On the first day, right in the middle of the splash page (in between the first few guided meditations) is a full-width banner asking me to upgrade to an annual subscription with some $$$ savings thrown in my face.
5. Sleep and exercise are covered as well, and some terrific music by different artists to help you focus.
6. Now the latest version seems to have degraded the usability of Sleepcasts, a fact acknowledged by customer support staff, but treated with silence by Headspace in public communication.
7. When you're looking to help people achieve a better mental state, and to help them keep stress and anxiety under control, you really should keep the program politically neutral.
8. And last, since the long hour contents (music, white noise and etc) for downloading have too much of a file size, maybe an option for downloading smaller lengths and size?I was ready to get into this and follow along each day.
9. The deeper resonance of the male voice may be more suited to guided meditation.I used this app when I was going through some difficult times while I was pregnant.
10. It offers many newer features that I don't currently use such as Movement and Music, but it's nice to know that they're available in case I might want to explore them at some point.Beyond disappointing.
11. Animations are nice.App is stuck in 2008, you can't fast forward, rewind, save your spot, or even search for your next meditation while listening to a meditation because it stops playing when you try.
For some weeks now I can't get most of the meditations to play at all. The daily ones work fine but all the others (that I'm paying to have access to!) just won't play. I get a circle going around and around but it won't work. I've tried connecting to the strongest WiFi, I've closed + reopened the app, I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I've restarted my phone and still nothing works. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S20 on Android version 12, last updated in July 2022. Please help as I'm very unhappy to be paying what I think is a lot of money for something that isn't working properly. Thanks
