1. So far so good except this more adds that cover/hide app and its irritatingSince switching to this email app it seems ALL the junk mail now ends up in my inbox automatically!! Also more annoyingly is even after deleting by clicking on the thumbs down icon to indicate its spam, the junk mail STILL reappears the next time you open the app! Very annoying and frustrating not to mention all end additional ads that appear with this app that don't appear with the original email app I previously had.Works out of the box.

2. Not sure that the notifications are working.very easy to use and open files i need to as other apps wont open very happyIn the last 4 months I noticed some good improvements.

3. What the hell has my mail got to do with Facebook??? And all the pop under ads?? Rather stay away from this, it seems to be a copy of K-9 mail filled with adsWorks except it doesn't notify me of new emails and I have all notifications turned on with sound.

4. Now I clicked on the settings icon, I see nothing that addresses that.Seems to be nice app, but it is not automatically sync with the account and i can't get notifications for new email eventhough i set that feature On.

5. And doesn't refresh the email list even when I manually refresh it.I keep getting a message every day that Microsoft does not have permission to collect my emails.

6. Please continue with the Improvements and I'm sure that very soon we will have something that fulfills our needs.It seems to work... BUT!!!! It also connects to bloody Facebook every time.

7. I think that with some Feedback from us this product can reach also the OPTIMAL service... So just for the Goodwill for the future, that we can count in one true reliable individual SERVICE, then I would give them 5 Stars.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Email App Issues

1. Fix Email App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Email App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Email App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Email App" » Open Email App for Hotmail, Outlook » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Email App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Email App for Hotmail, Outlook app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Email App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Email App for Hotmail, Outlook" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Email App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Email App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Email App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Email App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Email App not working


2. Fix Email App Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Email App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Email App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Email App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
