1. Once I realized what I was doing wrong they work so well! OMG I love them! I even tested to see what would happen if the power were to shut off and come back on, they stay in the last selected light mode you choose and come right back on! Can't wait until it gets dark to position them outside!installed the app, plugged in the lights, turned my bluetooth on, it works.
2. At first I couldn't get them to work they were just stuck in a solid light state, but then I realized that the app controls so many different types made by the company that I had to scroll over to "snowflurry" because that was the type of lights I purchased.
3. A simple timer would suffice; a smart device without either is lacking in smarts...I am not sure if it is the apps fault or the fault of the bluetooth connection but my control of the lights are spotty.
4. Lights shows in bluetooth on my phone but the app, at most, sees only 1 string (they are connected to each other) and that goes in and out.
5. Thanks for making over $200 worth of lights useless.I have the Kaleidoscope light.
6. yes, you can turn off your phone and the lights do what you last told them to do.Have had for two years.
7. The lights will stay programmed with the last sent program from your phone.
8. I have lost my bluetooth connection with the lights, I unplugged the lights and it was good to go.
9. Even tried factory resetting the lights per instructions and they didnt even go into reset mode.
10. I can connect to the light through an upstairs window, but I have to have Bluetooth and GPS turned on, and then scroll over to my light in the app.
11. However it does remember what the last setting was so once I set it I can turn it on and off using a timer.Did what other successful people did.
