DynaMed Customer Insights

1. The only downside is that this doesn't have a lot of information on the more bizarre and rare conditions.Since a few days ago all searches result in "no results, please try a different search", all my followed topics and recent searches were deleted, there are no calculators in the list.

2. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix.It's a very helpful app... I use it in my daily practice mainly for dose modifications and calculations... Which till now i can do smoothly..Latest update broke the login process.

3. The application content doesn't update on its own and when manually update, the update process takes pretty long time.

4. I can login in the website and it works fine there, but even if I log out and login again in the mobile app doesn't fix it, the app is just broken, reinstalling didn't fix the problem.App worked well for half a year.

5. As recently as 2018, I considered Dynamed as "B rate," but it rapidly outpaced the quality of competitors (esp for the price) Dynamed's review & articles use a higher grade of evidence.

6. As of a few days ago, all searches result in "no results found." All homepage updates show "document not found" next to them.

7. Many of UpToDate's recently revised articles rely more on expert opinion (low grade) than RCT or mets analysis.I can describe it as an encyclopedia of medicine.

8. Sometimes even with internet connection, the app doesn't show any content.

9. Thanks!If you haven't tried dynamed recently, you are missing out! Significantly higher value than UpToDate.

10. The platform has great content, presented in a bulleted style that is easy and quick to read.

11. After I download the offline version, it still requires internet connection to operate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DynaMed Issues

1. Fix DynaMed Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DynaMed: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DynaMed App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DynaMed" » Open DynaMed » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DynaMed » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DynaMed app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DynaMed servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DynaMed" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DynaMed app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DynaMed might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DynaMed. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DynaMed then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DynaMed not working


2. Fix DynaMed Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DynaMed be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DynaMed not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DynaMed may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
