WAMR Customer Insights

1. I mean that i could see when other people write or send voice note or even videos and pictures and delete all of a sudden and we cannot view those files.. This app shows every deleted stuff.

2. Please fix itNew version performance not best i have seen one new problem "access to WhatsApp folder is needed to recover media files and status" so boring.

3. I've tried this but the app still won't open.I have been using this application for a year.. It recovers the audio video file fine but now that I have reinstalled it... but this time no recover the video file.

4. Status section needs to refresh when you move to it in order to show the statuses.The app is not opening since the last update.

5. Before that it was working fine.New update doesn't seem to recover the files.

6. You have to "select" each media and only will you be able to delete those recovered media.

7. It shows the deleted message notification but that's it.

8. My phone says that the app has a bug please clear the cache and then try reopening.

9. There is only one issue that it shows adds.

10. Crashing constantly after todays update.

11. Wish the developers take note.App is crashing .

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix WAMR Issues

1. Fix WAMR Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart WAMR: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the WAMR App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WAMR" » Open WAMR: Undelete messages! » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WAMR » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear WAMR: Undelete messages! app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WAMR servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WAMR: Undelete messages!" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check WAMR app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WAMR might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall WAMR. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WAMR then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WAMR not working


2. Fix WAMR Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WAMR be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WAMR not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WAMR may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I encountered something new and I'm not sure what it means. In the section that saves photos and voicenotes, I have photos and voicenotes saved from Dec 12.-dec 19 that are empty and sent from "unknown", and on the bottom right corner instead of a time stamp it says xx:xx. I have no idea what this is. Also a document was saved from "unknown", and saved as my document.xyz.
    Any idea what this all means? And when I try to delete them it doesn't work.

  • Mere phone mein yah app install to ho gaya hai lekin yah properly registered nahin Ho raha hai isliye mujhe aap 1 email ID provide kare jisse main yah sari problem use mail ID per video ke through send kar saku jisse aap completely dekh paye ki kya real problem ho rahi hai.
