1. When my upgrade contact ends, I will also end my dealings with this half-witted provider.There literally was just an update to fix 'bug issues' and I still cannot open the app!! This app has never worked for me for the numerous times I try to log in! I would put my thumbprint in and I get a white screen and it never goes any further! For all the money we put into Dish Network you would think they were going to working app!Good app because I like watching my satellite that I crazily OVERPAY FOR...B U T definitely needs some upgrades.

2. Please make it easier to order movies on the app!!I have not been able to use the app for about 3 months now... sometimes, I get the prompt to log in and sometimes I don't.. regardless, it never makes it past the white loading screen.

3. Dish you can cancel my account and send me a final bill thru the mail.... I'm so over it.Opens in the payment screen.

4. In the rare instances I make it past the log in screen, it just gets stuck in an endless processing loop...Totally useless app.Every single time this app is updated to "fix bugs" it makes it worse.

5. I've been trying to open the app since the last update on 3/7/23 and it's just a blank screen.

6. Being charged $12 for free over the air local channels seems a bit pricy.It is so hard to find the movie I want on the app, order #, and the pay-per-view using the FREE certificate.

7. It has a good selection and even puts some episodes and movies up early.This app is horrible when trying to make changes to your tv package.

8. Instead they let you remove yours and then assign a random "suggested" package and you dont get to see what changes are made until you go to checkout and compare to what you currently have.It is disapointing that my bill continues to go up.

9. Terrible I know Dish got Hacked but that's been a few months back.

10. What the heck does that mean? I deleted and reinstalled the only dish app they have and I still get the same error message.

11. It wouls have been nice to see a side by side comparison of all channels in each package and then select.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyDISH Issues

1. Fix MyDISH Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyDISH: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyDISH App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyDISH" » Open MyDISH » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyDISH » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyDISH app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyDISH servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyDISH" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyDISH app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyDISH might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyDISH. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyDISH then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyDISH not working


2. Fix MyDISH Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyDISH be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyDISH not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyDISH may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
