1. This is very frustrating, because if you attempt to use these funtions, the video starts all over, from the beginning!! Also, if you have to stop watching, and leave the video, or lose wifi connection, or kill the app, and try to resume where you left off, the video skips forward 9-10minutes.

2. Hopefully they improve it soon.This app is awesome it's not that bad at all runs good, layouts pretty decent just got a couple suggestions we need a crop 2 fit button so the video fits your phone size all the way, I'm using the Note 10 plus.

3. Loses progress, so the "continue watching" section of the app is worthless, and instead only shows things that I have actually finished (which there is no way to clear).

4. Instead of bringing you back to where you interrupted your program, the list is either blank or lists shows that have you finished watching.

5. If it's not smooth playing, I'm not wasting my time.Impressive that an app that so many other companies do so well could become the most frustrating thing on my phone.

6. You'll waste time trying to get the app working again, only to spend even more time trying to get back to the part of your show you were at... after watching the ads all over again.

7. I live out in the middle of nowhere my Wi-Fi is not fast so I would like to be able to turn up the quality even if I have to pause the video an wait a minuteWorst user experience ever.

8. Searching for a show is near impossible, random letters are added/removed from what you type in (f.e. my search for Deadliest Catch resulted in looking like deadddlllist catch with no results being found).

9. The "continue watching" feature does not work most of the time.

10. Impossible to use, constant crashing, ridiculous amount of ads, and if you're lucky enough to get the video you want to actually play, don't settle in because it'll crash.

11. Works fine on my Samsung phone, though.1 minute of video and 1 minute of repetitive ads--on and on and on.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Discovery GO Issues

1. Fix Discovery GO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Discovery GO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Discovery GO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Discovery GO" » Open Discovery GO » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Discovery GO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Discovery GO app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Discovery GO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Discovery GO" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Discovery GO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Discovery GO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Discovery GO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Discovery GO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Discovery GO not working


2. Fix Discovery GO Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Discovery GO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Discovery GO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Discovery GO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
