1. The other is a nonprofit from Europe (European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre {EMSC}) that recorded an earthquake in 7.5 miles West of Evansville, Illinois and 6 miles North of West Frankfort (37.98 N longitude 88.92 W latitude) & 2 km deep with 2.2 on the Richter scale.
2. I can adjust the minimum magnitude to recieve alerts and the maximum radius of the location being monitored as well as add multiple locations.
3. If I feel a shake and get a notification, I know I was right about the shake, and reading all the stats about the quake helps pull me away from feeling fear irrationally and let's me think about it from a more analytical point of view.
4. Made an adjustment to my magnitude for earthquakes and I was able to get alerts as they happened.Excellent app, real time updates, friends and family tracking.
5. Just having this app on my phone brings me great comfort.This app DOES NOT alert you when any earthquake occurs.
6. Despite having all notifications turned on I never received anything after multiple earthquakes registering 4.0+. Don't waste your time with this useless app.Excellent app, easy to use.
