It was something like $2.99 I believe but I cannot figure out how long that was good for it did not give need that information, 1 and went to sign up!I think the "Police Scanner" is the most user friendly, and comprehensive scanner on the market today! Now, I'm using the "FREE VERSION" with no intrusive ads, distracting me from my studies of "fire search & Rescue, attack & defense" objective... but if I needed the paid version, it's still worth it! Download this app with full confidence! rigtec, cheers!I paid for the pro version of this app and the ONLY feed I listen to (Columbus, Ohio) is more often than not "not available," This isn't normal and I don't have this issue with other scanner apps.

Thank you, Police Scanner!Downloaded Wednesday morning, been using nonstop since,it's Saturday morning-no problem at all so far.I also did purchase the apps forever/unlimited subscription option,which I think was either $2.99 or like $5.00.Either price tho,I can say it's affordable considering the frequency of time I use it (always)7,playing in the background)and it's a one purchase for the life of the apps existence, so worth it.

3. every now and then, a channel doesn't work, but that could be because of the poloce/fire department may log off their radio at some points.Over an minute unskippable ad? Was trying to find out what happened to my neighbor after multiple boys n blue show and I couldn't hear anything over these stupid ads! I get some small ones or some full screen few second skippable ads but really? A full minute add that u couldn't turn off or hear the scanner over?Works well every time I use it.

4. I wouldn't wish for another scanner app and for my overall review it's worth both the paid version (purchased) or equally the free version offers the same without timing out with backscreen.

5. It also turns off frequently, I fall asleep listening, wake up and the feed has stopped.I would have preferred for Police Scanner to scan my local municipalities instead of far away places.

6. Next time something crazy is happening in another city/state , I'll see if I can check it out.Great app used this scanner since I can't remember!! Reliable with fantastic listening choices.

7. USA- FDNY- NYPD- AND LAPD Channels worth the listen into, the app in general listening in from UK buffers well with 0 complaints.

8. Other than that, it is a lot of great action and an informative adventure to hear what the police and other emergency services are doing.

1. Fix Police Scanner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Police Scanner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Police Scanner App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Police Scanner" » Open Police Scanner » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Police Scanner » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Police Scanner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Police Scanner servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Police Scanner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Police Scanner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Police Scanner might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Police Scanner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Police Scanner then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Police Scanner not working

2. Fix Police Scanner Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Police Scanner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Police Scanner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Police Scanner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
