Why should I report an Issue with my Chacon?

my Chacon Customer Insights

1. The new camera (with the same reference) only works with My Chacon which give several problems.Why do you have cameras that use Chacon Cam + and others that use this app??? So that the customer has a more confusing user experience having to use 2 different apps to manage the same type of products from the same brand?Very poor camera resolution and whorst app, very complicated review.

2. Cameras are good, though, mostly the remote control of movement is really good (inside cameras only, external does not have remote movement control)Hi, great app but would it be possible to also have an historical view per month (when clicking on "month" it only shows the days.

3. Only one thing missing, but a very important one: the ability to arm / disarm all your cameras in one touch.

4. Even better, it would be great to be able to export the consumption data...Not user intuitive at first but once you get it it works.

5. Didn't try it yet while being out of the country but I'm expecting it wil work the same as long as internet connection is goodI don't understan why they keep using this app.

6. I bought few months ago a camera working with Chacon Cam+ that woks better.

7. Arlo Security has this capability, Chacon does not.

8. I'm using the plug to monitor my EV charge which I need to expense to my employer.

9. So you have to arm / disarm each if your cameras one by one.

10. in my case, I have five of them... so you see it's not very user friendly.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix my Chacon Issues

1. Fix my Chacon Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart my Chacon: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the my Chacon App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "my Chacon" » Open my Chacon » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for my Chacon » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear my Chacon app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from my Chacon servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "my Chacon" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check my Chacon app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, my Chacon might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall my Chacon. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall my Chacon then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing my Chacon not working


2. Fix my Chacon Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make my Chacon be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to my Chacon not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, my Chacon may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
