DiO one Customer Insights

1. Ticket was opened to support, but no answer.. Disappointed..Until now, app that works properly, no big issue, interface very simple and user friendly, good job performed by the dev team.Needs some work in regards to stability and features, but in all it's a decent app.Love it! I can see diret i can see in photos and video, i can hear and speak and easy to work with it.

2. Already had to rename the rooms 4 times...The app DOES NOT transmit an alarm message when the door bell is pressed and there is a huuuuge delay of the photo taken after the door bell is pressed.

3. Takes ages to connect the shutters to it, then it keeps losing the settings.

4. My window installer fitted a Dio switch for window shutters.

5. No problems as switch but the switch is only compatible with a 2.4ghz WiFi network.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DiO one Issues

1. Fix DiO one Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DiO one: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DiO one App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DiO one" » Open DiO one » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DiO one » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DiO one app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DiO one servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DiO one" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DiO one app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DiO one might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DiO one. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DiO one then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DiO one not working


2. Fix DiO one Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DiO one be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DiO one not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DiO one may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
