Paramount+ Customer Insights

1. Also, three minutes of adds at the beginning of a movie or show isn't bad, considering if you had cable, it would be 3 minutes of adds/commercials multiple times thought the show or movie.Your platform is the worst! I am only able to watch maybe 2 episodes of a show then it starts laughing to the point it completely freezes and I have to turn my TV off and back on.

2. Problem is I can only watch about a minute of a show (if I'm lucky) before it full screen prompts to share location, so that it can help keep track of local NFL scores.

3. I've told my device enough times I don't want to share my location, that it doesn't even bring up the permissions anymore, but everytime the app kicks like this it takes me all the way back to the profile selection screen.Absolutely fantastic.

4. the video player is sloppy, the taskbar on the bottom of the screen doesn't go away while streaming, i can't tap anywhere on the screen without the pause menu popping up and staying on screen for like 8 seconds (with no ability to make it go away).

5. Anytime you minimize the screen and then go back to trying to watch full screen, it cuts off your show and tells you to turn on locations for football.

6. The app is one of my most favorite apps for entertainment, It has a wide selection of shows and movies to choose from, I like the fact that i am able to watch what i like with out time restrictions for most of the shows I follow.

7. The app also lacks an option to remove from "watch list" a saved video or episode.i like the selection on this app for the most part, and the tv and roku versions work just fine.

8. it's slow, and when the video finally starts it takes 30 seconds to finally become HD.The app is great except for the pop up page constantly asking you to set up location.

9. Then when I want to rewatch something it takes multiple tries to get to go back to the start if the show bc it wants to start at the end if the credits.

10. When you exit out of that page, it takes you to the home page, you re-click on the show and re watch ads.

11. The 90 second commercials take 4 minutes to play, I get 30 seconds of my show and it glitches and gives me another 4 min commercial break.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Paramount+ Issues

1. Fix Paramount+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Paramount+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Paramount+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Paramount+" » Open Paramount+ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Paramount+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Paramount+ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Paramount+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Paramount+" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Paramount+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Paramount+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Paramount+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Paramount+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Paramount+ not working


2. Fix Paramount+ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Paramount+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Paramount+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Paramount+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • My app is stuck and I can't watch Netflix. All my other apps work fine. It's been going on for two days now. I don't know if this gets through or not. I don't have a phone number to call.
