What users are saying

1. It definitely helped me through those first few months with different programs, soothing music to start the day, guided meditations to help fall asleep at night...there is so much material there for stress, anxiety, depression, etc...Most meditations are short enough to start the day off right or provide quick anxiety relief at lunch time, or even during a 10 mn break.

2. Sometimes the meditation audio stutters hard or it randomly stops playing music or meditation audio even while in app over wifi, then crashing when I try to play it again, there's also losing whatever I was listening to when I pause the audio and being unable to find it due to the history only recording completed sessionsNo support when trying to use something other than a phone.

3. Feels like a scam to try to frustrate people into just letting you take our money by not making it simple to find how to cancel.I've been using Calm nightly for a couple of years and I love it so much except one thing.

4. I'm trying to avoid blue light around sleep.I love this and it's improved my mental health over a period of four months but I've been having technical issues with it, the longer it's installed the more unstable it gets.

5. And for an app that I use to fall and stay asleep, that's a problem.I've been using the Calm app for several months now, but the most recent update has left it extreme buggy.

6. I think I'm good on not having my money go towards random influencers or a design that just copy pastes whatever Spotify has done lately.I got this app when I started a new job/new career and was experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety.

7. Unlike the name, this service generates frustration and aggravation.Used the app since 2016, but the design and curation choices have made me cancel and uninstall.

8. Given that a year subscription is $70, I'm not about to chance it that I'll be able to cancel in time.

9. 7 day free trial available, but other users say it is too difficult to cancel before you're charged.

10. This way if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can use the music to fall back asleep without having to look at my screen.

11. So if I started with a story to fall asleep, a sleep song playlist starts on the back end.

    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Calm » click "UPDATE".

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Calm app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Calm might not work.

  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Calm not working

2. Fix Calm Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Calm be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Calm not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Calm may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

To whoever it may concern, My name is Owen and I believe in the value of entrepreneurship. COVID-19 became the largest problem in the world; I know entrepreneurs see problems as opportunities, making it the biggest opportunity ever. As I and other students begin our path into the unknown, it would be amazing to receive guidance along this journey. Your company has truly represented what it means to be a thriving entrepreneur through you ability to help those relax and better themselves. The World Affairs Conference is North America’s foremost student-run symposium on current affairs and is hosted by Canadian schools, Upper Canada College and Branksome Hall. During WAC’s storied 39-year history, the conference has remained largely the same. This year, however, exciting change is coming. With a will to “Go Global,” we are hosting our first-ever virtual session of WAC shaped around the topical theme, “Together Towards Tomorrow.” Fundamentally, this theme addresses how we, as the next generation of leaders, can work collectively and collaboratively to make the future brighter in terms of innovation and diversity that will inform the next decade. In lieu of World’s thriving startup climate, one notable change for this year’s conference is the inclusion of a Startup Exhibition. In essence, the plan is to host a booth of up to 10 innovative and exciting startups. If this is of any interest and is possible, I will provide details accordingly. The exhibition is set to take place on Saturday February 6th, with an estimated turnout of 500 students who have an affinity for Entrepreneurship, global issues and learning. On behalf of the entire World Affairs Conference team, we hope you consider this opportunity, and how such an opportunity can enrich the lives of eager students from all walks of life. Sincerely, Owen.
