What users are saying

1. After the latest update in Dec 2020, the app is so laggy and i am having trouble finding an article from the print paper to share to a friendGood news app, but recently, even after I'm paying for access to the app and have logged in, the ads have gotten extremely annoying, popping up to interrupt when I'm scanning the headlines, reading the news summary, and again when reading the news text, covering the whole page so I'm forced to press the awkwardly small close button.

2. I'm going to stop using the app for the time being until all these issues have been sorted out. What happened to the print edition?? Why is it removed?? I download and read via the print edition on my small mobile phone screen and then turn off internet access.

3. Isn't this the reason why print edition existed in the first place for users to easily read the news without having to zoom and scroll?Update: Thanks ST for addressing feedback and improving the app.

4. The major change in the app has made it difficult for me as a paid subscriber to read the printed news.

5. But the sharing of article from e-paper could have been improved on two ways: 1) less reduction in resolution of shared images, 2) ability to choose parts of articles to share instead of pre-defined parts.

6. I just want to read today's news in an easy way. After the update, cannot tell which news are new, and which are old.

7. It's the same problem as Joseph Tan below.Hi can you fix this bug which I observed after the update? When I zoom in by pinching on a part of the epaper, the zoom always commences from the top left corner of the page no matter which part of the page is being pinched.

8. App crashes often and is inconvenientI really really need ST app on PC version because of the longer time that I do want to spend reading ST.

9. The issue to me however, is how I'm paying for a newspaper service that crashes when I want to read the paper.

10. In my experience, there is one pop-up ad when you first open the app, and within the articles themselves, there are ads scattered between paragraph making the reading experience slightly disruptive.

11. Thank you.Pls bring back the print edition with scalable text.
