1. This new version is prettier, but it is still flooding our email with dozens of email notifications everyday, even though we turned off email notifications in the settings! Also, they removed the feature to download pictures of your child, which is a baffling decision.

2. (I've been using the app for 10 months.)The premise of this app is great, but it forces me to login every single time the app opens (which is a lot if you've enabled the notifications!).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Bright Day Issues

1. Fix My Bright Day Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Bright Day: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Bright Day App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Bright Day" » Open My Bright Day » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Bright Day » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Bright Day app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Bright Day servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Bright Day" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Bright Day app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Bright Day might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Bright Day. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Bright Day then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Bright Day not working


2. Fix My Bright Day Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Bright Day be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Bright Day not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Bright Day may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
