If the trial is good and parents think the app is beneficial they'll pay for the full version.GOOD APP BUT COULD BE BETTER, #1 - there isn't a option to pause so your child can have time to understand the formation of the words #2 - The lesson is going so fast that my 4 year old daughter doesn't get to spell the words herself #3 The app quickly goes ahead and spell the words by starting at the second or third letter before the first letter which is a huge confusion for a 4 year old! With those improvements the app would be much better!Very basic, The app title say phonics.

2. So they think we should be blindly suckered in, after being shown less than 10% of the product? No thanks!! Since our issue with the app is more a matter of principle, I left 2 stars, as some parental controls and the little bit of gameplay shown were decent.The animations seem aimed at the preschool crowd, but there are so many pop ups, a preschooler is definitely going to accidentally install other apps.

4. It does not reinforce any phonics.It's a good app but when choosing the games there are additional apps that show up alongside the choices when they don't need to be there.

5. Overall, not a good fit for younger kids OR older kids.I would have gave it a 5 start but it doesn't have the option to change it to lower case.

6. When the letters are touched, a voice says the LETTER NAME NOT THE LETTER SOUND.

7. This game asks children to drag letters to match the letters of a word, for example s-a-t for sat.

8. UNINSTALLED! Only 2 free mini-games out of 23 other paid games & 3 links to other apps.

9. When all the letters are matched, the letter names are read again and the word is announced.

10. These additional apps are made to look like they are part of the regular app so of course a child wants to click it.

11. Add can be placed on some corner or give big button to close it.Even after paying to remove ads, there are still prominently displayed ads for other apps.
