1. The 2 stars are because we're able to watch S3, but they randomly play ads in the middle of scenes instead of where you'd expect them to be.The apps functionality is poor at best.

2. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.What Happened this use to be a good app I never had any problems with it now I can't watch anything I use to no more live TV no more Doctor Who not even a search options.

3. You can"t simply continue a movie from what's playing on BBC America on your cable provider by switching to the phone app.

6. Neither can you search for that movie and watch it by streaming it on demand.

7. After about 3 or so minutes, the video skips right to the end and when I move the slider back to the beginning ... yep, you guessed it ... the entire process begins again.There's NO live TV.

8. Here's hoping they go bankrupt quickly and license their content back out to one of the good streaming services before audiences forget these shows exist.

9. You can't watch what you are paying to watch through your TV provider.Logs you out of your cable provider pretty much every time you close the app.

10. You can cast to a device and then your phone and device will simultaneously play the show, not on purpose.

11. Doesn't cast to external screens anymore, you can start the program on the app, but if you try to cast it it goes back to a loading screen until it times out.

4. Check BBC America app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BBC America might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BBC America. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BBC America then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BBC America not working

2. Fix BBC America Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BBC America be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BBC America not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BBC America may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
