1. I've used the online website and while I can look up jobs, I remain at a standstill because guess what-I CAN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH A RECRUITER! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!For everyone saying it's a scam is not, It took me 2 months to get in.

2. App notification just states email not confirmed and that's it.This has been the worst app! I've waited, emailed and called over a 2 month period after uploading my credentials.

3. The website itself is buggy too, clicking on posted positions leads to the position just staring back at you, saved preferences don't remain saved either.I hate this app.

5. Aya healthcare got me a contract with UCI, thru this app I can pickup shifts from 3 different hospitals they got me contracts from.I like this app.

6. I can't get one shift while I listen to others brag about getting 6 shifts every week consistently.

7. Can't get past the first screen which states, "need to connect to a recruiter to be credentialed ".

8. No one ever emailed, texted or called me back! And there is no way to retreive my personal information & documentation.

9. Both the app and website itself are faulty, as logging into this site is nearly impossible.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Shifts Issues

1. Fix Shifts Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Shifts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Shifts App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Shifts" » Open Shifts » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Shifts » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Shifts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Shifts servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Shifts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Shifts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Shifts might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Shifts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Shifts then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Shifts not working


2. Fix Shifts Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Shifts be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Shifts not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Shifts may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
