1. Songs will randomly become unavailable on your favorites list, the search feature is weak, and the car UI is garbage, lacking basic features such as: Liking Music??? It's baffling how hard Tidal continues to fumble this bag.EXCELLENT music quality even on the regular $11/month tier.

2. However, the better treatment of artists and higher quality of sound make Tidal well worth using, at least until Spotify eventually releases hi-fi masters some day.

3. Tidal is a mixture of Spotify's artist discovery and Amazon's sound quality.

4. The HiFi plan really does have a noticeable difference in quality vs standard, and sounds at least as good as Amazon's HD (probably better, but I can't tell).The app is buggy, and downloading is poorly implemented.

5. I've tried Amazon Music, Tidal and Spotify.

6. Tidal is a close 2nd to Spotify and both are way ahead of Amazon Music.

7. I got tired of Amazon Music's popups asking for permissions that aren't necessary, and trying to upsell when I'm already paying for one of the top packages.

8. There's no way to like or favorite a track! Really poor for music discovery, and this is a longtime problem with the app Finally, there's no sleep timer which is great for artists but bad for the environment.

9. However, the first thing the app does is to immediately update, deleting most of the downloaded songs and attempting to download the latest playlist version.

10. If you add the ability to search for playlists when adding a song to a playlist, I will give you five stars and continue using this service into adulthood.So far, so good.

11. It would be really nice to just pick a song, and have similar music just continue, instead of needing to pick another song.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TIDAL Music Issues

1. Fix TIDAL Music Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TIDAL Music: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TIDAL Music App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TIDAL Music" » Open TIDAL Music: HiFi sound » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TIDAL Music » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TIDAL Music: HiFi sound app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TIDAL Music servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TIDAL Music: HiFi sound" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TIDAL Music app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TIDAL Music might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TIDAL Music. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TIDAL Music then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TIDAL Music not working


2. Fix TIDAL Music Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TIDAL Music be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TIDAL Music not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TIDAL Music may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I have been tryin to cancel subscription that has been being charged to my account for past 3-4months. I don’t have an account so I can’t log in to cancel it. I’ve sent u multiple emails and still have not received a response. Your phone number doesn’t work because it tells u to go online and log-in to ur account whivh as I stated I can’t do because I do not have an account. Pls contact me via emai or at 954-625-4537 TY
