Cons: requires location services to be on (even if using invite code for a specific location),ONLY searches up to 40 mi from your current location (so can't use to assist family if you aren't in their area, or look near home/work), when finds avail appts it only gives location-you can't see date until AFTER you do the screening questsGot and used the app on advice of a neighbor to find and schedule a Covid shot.

2. The county health department selected this app for scheduling Covid shot appointments with them- it worked well.Was able to schedule an appointment for me and my husband within 24 hours of downloading, though I did have to check back frequently.

3. Anyway, this is as incompetent as the entire vaccine rollout has been so I dunno why I would ever expect morePros: Works ok when you have an invite code for a specific location, able to schedule for both me & husband, have heard it makes it quick to check in to appts.

Wish more providers, like Walgreens and Rite Aid were using this so you didn't have to scour a bunch of sites to find an appointment.Once you go through the entire account-creation process and try to find an appointment you are presented with the text "App is currently available only in select cities in the State of Ohio.

5. Works no better than calling for an appointment and calling is useless as well because I have been trying to call to schedule Covid-19 vaccination for three days and one of three things happens.

6. Really happy with this app, thought it was going to be way more difficult.I was able to schedule an appointment and get my vaccine within 48 of signing up.

7. I assume it will send reminders for the follow-up shot when the provider enters the follow up appointment in the system.

8. There's no way to contact someone for help aside from their stupid online form that gives you 4 topics topics to choose from, the app is not user friendly & there's no easy way to reschedule an appointment.

9. You get 0 communication for follow up appointment dates until the day before, then when you try rescheduling the form asks questions whose answers are ignored.

1. Fix ArmorVax Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ArmorVax: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ArmorVax App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ArmorVax" » Open ArmorVax » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ArmorVax » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ArmorVax app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ArmorVax servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ArmorVax" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ArmorVax app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ArmorVax might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ArmorVax. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ArmorVax then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ArmorVax not working

2. Fix ArmorVax Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ArmorVax be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ArmorVax not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ArmorVax may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
