1. I did, and it attempts to authenticate with Facebook, but doesn't open the Facebook app (tries to do it in a browser window) and the Facebook service doesn't allow that, saying "please install the Facebook app"... It is installed, but the Sun app doesn't open it.
2. My subscription for whatever reason is dead, and my attempts to contact have basically done nothing. This is a convenient way to read the daily newspaper as well as to get recent, breaking news.
3. It does not es port well into the Android News app, but they put up a paywall that drives you to the app.The only real complaint I have with the app is the Evening Edition 'evening paper' is not available.
4. I tried creating an account using my usual email address, and the app said I'd already used this address to log in with Facebook in the past, so please click the Facebook login button.
5. I'm enrolled to receive the email everyday when the evening edition is released which is around 4 p.m. but the only way to view it is through my browser. The recent update made the app unusable for me.
6. I have followed the directions given to me on the FAQs section of the app and am still unable to find a way to cancel my subscription that was supposed to be 9.99 per month but has been 16.99 per month.
7. Otherwise, its like having today's paper in your palm as well as part of tomorrow's.I have tried to make this app provide "Silent" notifications only, but my phone still vibrates.
8. To be honest, neither is worth the cost for the Baltimore Sun.The Sun has good writers, but their subscription system is just the worst and most confusing thing.
9. It's simple and works, news update notifications work better than with the NYT app.
10. If there's no resolution on this, I'll have to delete the app to prevent distractions.Hands down the worst digital news app.
11. Sure, you send me push notifications but when I click on the link, suddenly you refuse to show me the article.
