1. Apparently that's not the case at ApolloBetween figuring out how to "detach" my device from the app (support only gave instructions for old app and everything is different now), numerous factory resets and the latest app update, my device is finally connecting most of the time.

2. Update 7/2/23: Not connecting at all on my Moto Edge 2022 for about 10 days, even with Tech support.Apollo needs to learn how to update software without losing previous improvements.

3. This should be quick and easy to use but it's frustrating wasting so much time trying to get the device to connect.

4. On the days it works, however, I still need to spend 30+ minutes jumping through hoops to get it to connect.This used to be an awesome sleep aid, but ever since the "update," it's been impossible to use.

5. When I wake up in the night I used to be able to press the side buttons quickly to replay the sleep mode, but now I have to open the app and wait for it to connect and then choose the sleep vibe if I want to ensure I'm getting the right one.

6. It's frustrating.Having to wait for 10-60s+ for the app to connect every time I want to switch modes is not acceptable for me personally.

7. However, since the update it takes a very long time for my neuro to connect to the app.

8. About half the time I have to do a factory reset of the device just to be able to use it.

9. They had fixed slow connectivity to the Apollo Neuro and now with recent updates it's worse than ever frequently taking more than a minute to connect.

10. I've left the app running for well over an hour with the Apollo device right beside it and I have not seen it change from a buffering 'connecting'.

11. It takes forever to connect, and when you try to play a vibe, half the time it goes to one you didn't click on.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Apollo Neuro Issues

1. Fix Apollo Neuro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Apollo Neuro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Apollo Neuro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Apollo Neuro" » Open Apollo Neuro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Apollo Neuro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Apollo Neuro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Apollo Neuro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Apollo Neuro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Apollo Neuro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Apollo Neuro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Apollo Neuro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Apollo Neuro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Apollo Neuro not working


2. Fix Apollo Neuro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Apollo Neuro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Apollo Neuro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Apollo Neuro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
