1. it's not a bug, its just badOne of my favorite apps... It has so much info it is actually quite daunting to go through it all... It comes in real handy if you lend someone your phone for whatever reason and you want to see what they did on your phone as it gives you a timeline of exactly when and what apps were used, when the screen was locked/unlocked and when the phone was turned off/restartedOnce the window opens with each item showing I can't get back in to see the menu.

Other features include a timeline, bar charts, heat map view, app installation history, and much more.Doesn't keep record past a couple months, I was looking for trend data and I guess it just decides to forget after a while? Info graphs are hard to use and individual app stats are only available for daily metrics not weekly or monthly.

3. However, 5 stars for great customer service and an overall awesome app!A great app! I compared over a dozen apps to monitor my screen time, and I found "app usage" to be the best.

4. Plus even though I've used the same email address you only showed a fraction of what I've spent.Very useful for tracking app usage stats and especially for finding background apps that can be disabled.

6. I have tried last hour to remove it from my device, reboot it, etc., but the uninstallation just does not work!!3.5 stars!! At first, it works fine.

7. The export functionality could be improved (I wonder % of users would like to utilize their data of the app.) The feature isn't intuitive, auto export in particular has been a bit of a headache.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix App Usage Issues

1. Fix App Usage Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart App Usage: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the App Usage App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "App Usage" » Open App Usage - Manage/Track Usage » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for App Usage » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear App Usage - Manage/Track Usage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from App Usage servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "App Usage - Manage/Track Usage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check App Usage app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, App Usage might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall App Usage. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall App Usage then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing App Usage not working


2. Fix App Usage Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make App Usage be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to App Usage not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, App Usage may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
