1. Also, drug manufacturers and distributors sometimes change their concentrations, therefore this program will NOT let you simply enter "Amiodarone" and perform all the calculations for you.
2. Add a drug amount in mg, mcg, grams or units to a volume of fluid, select the dose ordered, and voila!
3. However, if you accidentally enter an incorrect parameter, you may back-screen to correct it without having to re-enter each piece of data.
4. Most of the features of this app are available on modern pumps - but modern pumps aren't always available.
5. The ml/hour necessary to deliver that dose is displayed.
6. This is an IV drip rate calculator for paramedics and nurses.
7. All parameters MUST be verified prior to infusion!
8. This is BetterWare (for lack of a better term) - if you think of any way to make it better, please share it with me so I can share it back with everyone.
1. I do suggest adding an option to count the drops and turn it into like ml/hr and so it tells us drips per minute if we are in the ball park...if these features were added I'd definitely pay for them! This app is really good but if you fix some issues like unable to calculate small dose easily per kilograms, ex we cannot calculate 1.3kg but we can calculate 1kg and 2kg like round figure.Very useful for quick back of the ambulance drug calculations for potentially confusing infusions when mixing drugs in to a fluid bag.
2. Very nice if you do not have pre dosed bags and all you have is multi and single dose vials with bags of saline.Absolutely terrible app.
3. Please continue this app for being very goodA little more complex than it needs to beWoohoo, makes my duty easierNot working anymoreThank literal God for this.
4. If I could give negative stars I would. No longer has decimal point available for kilograms or pounds.
5. This app crashed my phone twice in a span of 10 minutes.
6. Weight must be rounded up I guess.
7. Not helpful anymoreVery very nice app.
8. Fantastic app! Best I've found.
9. Helped me a lot.
