1. Thank you!I can't download the app... Anybody else having issues?I'm always going to be a fan of the Stark County Library app.A library of plus quality!People are very helpful.love the libraryLove it so far! This app makes it super easy to find and reserve books, check my holds, and even replaces my library card straight from my phone.

2. All I keep getting is a 'sorry something went wrong please cancel/retry....and there's no use retracing 🙄🤬Downloaded specifically for the digital library card, but the app itself is a wonderful resource.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Stark Library Issues

1. Fix Stark Library Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Stark Library: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Stark Library App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Stark Library" » Open Stark Library » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Stark Library » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Stark Library app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Stark Library servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Stark Library" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Stark Library app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Stark Library might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Stark Library. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Stark Library then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Stark Library not working


2. Fix Stark Library Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Stark Library be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Stark Library not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Stark Library may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
