They replaced birmingham city's contract to rip people off and charge them way more for a 10x worser service than VOI atleast voi didn't take advantage of their customers and just charged a flat monthly fee no unlock charges and you could park anywhere your service is pointless and people won't use it to expensive and you have to park at bays at all times makes your service completely pointless I will never use it until big changes are made you have literally gone backwards.App was glitchy.

2. Time you sort out the hassle of unlock issues you could have walked to your destination.I was just looking around on the map to see where bikes are available - I clicked on one location to see what 0 meant, if there are no bikes there usually or right now.

3. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and now it seems to think that I am elsewhere and to drive the bike back or there will be a charge..I am just sitting at home and have never hired a bike yet! The app has my card too.How on earth town and city councils are accepting contracts with this company I will never know.

4. Customer support is always great thoughWont allow me to enter the phone number validation code! Keboard dissappears as soon as I leave the app to pick up text, then wont come back! Useless and frustrating! Edit: only works with Google Gboard as android keyboard.

5. App also didn't indicate whether bike parking spots were full, so I had to cycle far out of my way to avoid a £10 fine.

6. Unreliable as well as annoying Even with all notifications switched off, whenever I open the app to unlock a bike, I have to clear messages and notifications that I am not interested in before I can do that.

7. Poorly tested! Now I'm locked out as having made too many attempts😡Tried to start a bike on 3 separate occasions and only managed to unlock once.

8. A 15 minute cycle (including walking to and from the ideal bike parking spots) took over an hour.Just awful.

9. Please stop wasting my time with notifications that I am not interested in.The prices you practice for Brighton are enormous compared with other cities in England.

10. Happy to supply bikes and scooters despite the main login system, their app, is rubbish.

1. Fix Beryl Bikes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Beryl Bikes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Beryl Bikes App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Beryl Bikes" » Open Beryl Bikes » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Beryl Bikes » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Beryl Bikes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Beryl Bikes servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Beryl Bikes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Beryl Bikes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Beryl Bikes might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Beryl Bikes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Beryl Bikes then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Beryl Bikes not working
