What users are saying

1. "Save to Wallet" functionality does not work and you cannot screenshot benefit cards, even though it is a document you must show in multiple places.I like this app.

2. Cannot download or print claim reports from the app on an android a52 phone with all recent updates installed.

3. Now not so much.Why does the app need to access all my photos videos etc on my phone in order to work.Not great.

8. The only thing that could be improved would be the ability to open statements in PDF to save or screenshot them to submit to my other provider.

9. I now have the ability to download a pdf and view the file without issues like the desktop webpage.

10. When the download button is selected, error generated is that no app is installed.

11. I'm sure that these will be fixed as the app use to work perfectly and made my life easy.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Alberta Blue Cross Issues

1. Fix Alberta Blue Cross Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Alberta Blue Cross: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Alberta Blue Cross App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Alberta Blue Cross" » Open Alberta Blue Cross®—member app » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Alberta Blue Cross » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Alberta Blue Cross®—member app app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Alberta Blue Cross servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Alberta Blue Cross®—member app" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Alberta Blue Cross app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Alberta Blue Cross might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Alberta Blue Cross. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Alberta Blue Cross then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Alberta Blue Cross not working


2. Fix Alberta Blue Cross Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Alberta Blue Cross be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Alberta Blue Cross not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Alberta Blue Cross may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
