Coronalert BE Customer Insights

1. An insight of how many possible contacts the app is keeping track off would be nice to have and would give a reassurance that the app is keeping track of them (and also to point out people/contacts who doesn't have the tracking app installed when the number of contacts didn't increase ;) )(Because some people are asking how to change the interface language: for me this worked by changing the preferred system language in my Android settings.) It was extremely simple to get this app going.

2. It's a shame though that test results for a pcr taken at the Ecocare centre at Brussels airport (returning from abroad with a code) shows as "not available" when I've had the results by email for 3 days! Too bad it doesn't say the amount of vaccinated people either... Could be much better...One of the worst apps I've seen.

3. The testing center (Brussels, Albert) told me "the app is no good" (something probably lost in translation) and that they didn't support it.I have installed the latest version 1.8.2. I seriously doubt this "android" version is working properly... one of my family members tested positive, and the results were being uploaded to the website.

4. I also tried how it works with generating the R1 code in case I went to get a test, and then resetting the app afterwards.I went to get tested and even though I registered to get my results in the app, the testing center said they didn't do that.

5. Makes you think why they need your location data right? Someone should seriously do an audit or this should be made opensource.. aint using it if it only tracks me and doenst help in any other wayThe app behaves nice and quiet and doesn't eat your battery.

6. The concept that everybody has a good enough smartphone and can enable bluetooth all the time is not realistic.Nice black theme implementation, I like it! Some of the preliminary text could be condensed and the full counterparts moved into menus though, currently it's long and tedious to read through.

7. Try to get your test result? Shows result, close the app, open, test results are gone.. "no results yet".

8. Furthermore it's a waste of time if not everybody has the app installed, but that's up to the people..This app doesn't work.

9. Try to add your test to the app? Need to click a link in an sms, opens in an iframe in the app, crashes the first few times, asks if you did the test because of the app ( shouldn't you know this??).

10. Good work!useless, doesn't work.

11. I find it handy it switches it self on automatically as soon as Bluetooth is on (unlike the French app which you need to manually switch on every time).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Coronalert BE Issues

    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Coronalert BE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Coronalert BE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Coronalert BE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Coronalert BE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Coronalert BE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Coronalert BE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Coronalert BE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Coronalert BE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Coronalert BE not working


2. Fix Coronalert BE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Coronalert BE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
